It works as follows, the so-called TombBus (T1) departs from the central Plaza de Catalunya (in front of the El Corte Inglés store) and goes up to Pl. Pius XII, passing through the main shopping points – Passeig de Grácia, Diagonal v- e then it returns by the same path. The ticket can be purchased with the driver himself, and those who hold the Barcelona Card (we talk about him here ) get good discounts.
Opening Hours
Barcelona stores generally open from Monday to Saturday, from 10 am to 9:30 pm, but it is not uncommon for small stores to have different opening hours, closing during a certain period of the day, from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, for example. Avinguda del Portal de l’Àngel

Barcelona’s beautiful Plaza de Catalunya is home to one of the largest department stores in the world, El Corte Inglés. Everything in the place is grand, starting with the size of the building: nine floors that house a series of famous stores for men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and shoes, accessories, cosmetics, electronic items and much more.
Ah, after shopping, be sure to take a break at the La Rotonda café and restaurant, which is on the ninth floor of the store. The food and drinks served on site are delicious, in addition, from the top of this beautiful building you have a great view of Barcelona!

La Barceloneta
Beautiful beach, restaurants serving seafood dishes, tapas bars like Bitácora, bustling nightlife, shops and a host of other features make La Barceloneta one of the most interesting neighborhoods in Barcelona.
The neighborhood that was built in the 18th century to house people who lost their homes for the construction of Ciutadella is excellent for those looking for good accommodation options in the city and also for those who just want moments of rest or lots of fun.

– Moll de La Fusta: old pier with two beautiful sculptures: Gambrinus – a huge lobster, made of resin and fiberglass, by artist Javier Mariscal (1989) and A Cabeça de Barcelona, the face of a woman who is 20 meters high, created by the American Roy Lichtenstein (1992).
Rambla del Mar: a walkway that joins the Portal de la Pau with the Moll d’Espanya, where you will find the Maremagnum (an excellent shopping center, many shops), L’Aquàrium (an impressive oceanarium), among other attractions.
For those who intend to stay on the beach, useful information: the rental of beach chairs and umbrellas costs 6 euros a unit. The tip for those who want to save money, therefore, is to bring your own material.
La Rambla
Being in Barcelona and not going through La Rambla at least once is something practically impossible to happen. This is because the extremely central street – one of the most famous in the city – attracts a lot of locals and tourists because it is surrounded by options of restaurants and snack bars (not always the best in the city), shops of all kinds, points tourist attractions, La Boqueria Market and much more.
To get an idea, the Rambla is so extensive that it connects Plaza de Catalunya ( Plaça de Catalunya ) to the Monument of Christopher Columbus and also to the edge of the city. A very good busy area to be explored on foot and with an incredible atmosphere, both day and night.

Mercat de La Boqueria
In the heart of La Rambla – one of the busiest streets in Barcelona – this market with an incredible atmosphere is located, where you will find a series of stalls that sell all kinds of food: seafood (beautiful and super fresh), fruits, juices and vitamins, typical Spanish delicacies, such as chorizo and Iberian ham, wines and much more.
In addition, there are several “tents / restaurants” that serve the famous tapas and, for this reason, they are usually quite popular, especially on weekends (among the good options are Pinotxo Bar and El Quim de La Boqueria). The bad news, however, is that prices are not usually very affordable. When in doubt, therefore, always take a look at the menu before ordering anything.

Passeig de Gràcia
Passeig de Gràcia avenue is undoubtedly one of the most charming addresses in Barcelona. And besides being ideal for a good walk, due to the beautiful architecture of the buildings and the wide sidewalks, the place is perfect for those who do not miss a little shopping, as it brings together luxury commercial establishments – such as the Valentino, Prada and Stella McCartney brands – and also more popular stores, such as Mango, Zara and Puma.
Furthermore, it is on Passeig de Gràcia that you will find Casa Batló, one of Gaudí’s fantastic creations in the city. Built between 1904 and 1906, the house is one of the most interesting sights in the capital of Catalonia.
