Smartwatches are slowly entering our day-to-day lives and showing their true usefulness. After the first models that paved the way and were shown to users, brands now begin to combine form with functionality and introduce new models more like real watches.
LG is one of the brands that is present from the first moment in this new market and that has struggled to present interesting proposals to all.
After the LG G Watch and LG G Watch R, now comes the turn of a new version of the latter, still more towards the market of watches and its true function.
The LG Watch Urbane is LG’s latest offer in the smartwatch market and wants to bring even more users to it, who did not see these devices in the form of a watch they like.
At hardware level this is a smartwatch in all identical to what LG G Watch R, which had until now the top-end title of LG.
There are some punctual details, giving Urbane some extra capacity, but in fact everything in the R can be found in this new model.
- 3-inch P-OLED screen with 320 x 320 pixel resolution
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Quad-Core 1.2GHz processor
- Android Wear
- 512MB RAM
- 4GB internal memory
- 410mAh battery
- Heart rate sensor
The real differences are at the aesthetic level, with LG Watch Urbane evolving from what has been proposed so far.
Proposed with a metal body and in two distinct colors, Urbane still has the unique feature of having a leather strap
In addition to the colors, the Urbane Watch has different dimensions, 45.5 x 52.2 x 10.9mm. This shows that it is thicker than the G Watch R due to the materials used in its construction material construction.
There is also the presence of the traditional bracelet, which can be replaced by other more luxurious models, as it is compatible with any 22mm model.
There is still no additional information on the LG Watch Urbane, either on its availability or its price, and this new model should be made public during the WMC at CHRONOLOGICALWATCHES.
