If you want to make a nice clock for kids room here’s an idea… A blue cloud where to mark the hours that remain to your kids to play there is a very nice smiling Crow that will put everyone in a good mood. Then read the help carefully to avoid mistakes. Good job!
Be sure to have on hand:
- Blue, black, Orange and white construction paper
- fine-tipped black marker
- mechanism for clock
- White, red, black, permanent marker
- darning needle
- Collet driller
Using a plate draws the clock basis, download from the internet the image of a Raven with outstretched wings, as in the photo and draw two clouds of different magnitude. Lists the reasons that you have drawn on construction paper and cut out. With the pliers drill a hole into the Raven and practice in its flap (hand), with a big needle from wool, make a hole in the center of the clock.
Paste the clouds based on round blue with a little hot glue, paint with a permanent marker, the dots and numbers and let dry. Paste up you’ve taken from Orange construction paper, on the body of the Raven while the legs on the back of the body. Color then her cheeks and mouth and with a white marker draws a one-eye.
Paste the Crow on the hour hand, so the Raven’s beak and Lancet are exactly on top of each other. Paste the wing on the minute hand. Mount the clock mechanism washer, sticks his hand from the front and fixed with the lid. Your clock is ready to hang.
Insights and trivia:
Can be made in a variety of wood materials, paper, for the children who have to learn to read it. It is a tool you can’t do without. First choose the material to be used for the creation of your clock. Choose the size, material, preparing tools and a basis on which to work calmly. The work will be quite simple but requires anyway some tranquillity, to run correctly. Take the plywood and draw over a perfect circle use a compass, the size you want.
Go to record/cut this circle and then basically a hole in the center, with the drill. To simplify the work, paint just after the creation of this forum.
Then take the tempera or acrylic paints and paint it all.
Obviously the choice of colors is at your discretion, you may pass over the surface a color as a base and then create designs to your liking, with another color.
Let everything dry for one night and the next day you finish the job of making a clock. To finish the job you have to mount all remaining pieces i.e. the wheel, the hands, the numbers, the mechanism of movement for quartz watches. Place everything carefully and make sure that each piece matches up with the other, and, if so, what system would be wrong.
