What’s New for Zuk Z1 in Collaboration with Lenovo and Cyanogen

Last June , we introduced the new Zuk Z1, a smartphone still not officially announced born from the partnership of Zuk, Lenovo and Cyanogen Inc. Through his official page on Weibo, Zuk has announced it will hold a press conference next August 8 in which will officially present the new Zuk Z1 in the world, however the teasers and some leak allow us to take a look at what may be the characteristics of the Terminal.

Compared to the sighting of June, in which it had been possible to see only the quantity of RAM memory equal to 3 GB, the double edged sword of 16 and 32 GBinternal memory, the display from 5.5 “FullHD and photographic sector consists of a main module from 13 Megapixels and one 5 MegaPixel front-facing, this time we become aware of the fact that the terminal will be moved by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and discussed and will be thefirst device to use a USB 3.0 Type C.

Although this is not the first device ever to adopt the standard Type C, will be the first to do it with the standard USB 3.0, which can reach much higher read/write speeds to current USB 2.0 and will take advantage of quick charging up to 3A, although it is not yet clear whether it will be implemented. Staying on the subject of battery, arrive first confirmations about the presence of a large unit from well 4000 mAh which should guarantee a good battery life minus the processor and display with a resolution “only” FullHD.

Finally, don’t miss the now-ubiquitous fingerprint sensor, in this case called U-Touch and placed inside the home button on the front of the device. The new Zuk Z1 should be marketed in a few weeks through distribution channels offered by JD.com, one of the largest Chinese e-commerce sites. Of course we should await the Conference of 8 August for more details concerning the price and timing of distribution (should!) the rest of the world.
